The Kynoch Heritage Walk commences at the Bridgewater Quayside Entrance and continues along the North Quay towards the caravan park and concludes near the Arklow Bay Hotel. The total distance is approximately 2km.  Along the route of this walk are six information panels, which we hope will help to bring to life the story of this huge explosive factory and the role it played in the history and development of Arklow Town.

The Bluewalk Tour

This historical walk goes from the Parade Ground near the Bank of Ireland.  There are 17 historic places of interest along the walk which finishes at the Court Building, opposite the start of the walk.  The route of this walk is indicated on the map of Arklow which is available from the Arklow Tourist office located on the Parade Ground.
