Everyone is feeling the pinch from Covid-19 but none more severely than local charities and this is a time when their services are needed more than ever. ‘Arklow Chamber Cheers for Charity’ is an opportunity to share the seasonal goodwill and lift the community up at Christmas.

We know that Christmas parties are out of the picture this year, so why not put that money to good use?

‘Arklow Chamber Cheers for Charity’ is an initiative created by Arklow & District Chamber of Commerce to enable local businesses to make a donation that would ordinarily have been allocated to a Christmas party fund. More people are in need of the vital services provided by local charities this year more than ever, and a donation like this could make this festive season a little easier for those who need it.

We are buying from local businesses to give to our local charities.

So far we received €5,250 from our members.

The 2020 Halloween Shop Window Competition

Arklow Municipal District invites all to take part in the 2020 Halloween Shop Window Competition.
Be the best window display on this Halloween Season.
Judging will take place between October 26^th and 30^th.
