Arklow Pottery

Arklow & District Chamber have been awarded a grant by Wicklow Co. Council to complete a feasibility study on a Pottery and Heritage Centre for the town.  We have a great pottery history in Arklow and want to support local crafts and skills in our future plans.  In speaking to Peter Kinsella of the Pottery Shop there are a number of people who have supported Irene Sweeney in this project and we would like to thank them.  Keep an eye on the pottery exhibition in Bridgewater and email chamber@arklow.ie with any ideas you have on this initiative.
