St Patrick’s Day Parade
The Arklow Town St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee have announced that the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place at the earlier time of 2pm on Saturday the 17th March.
This year’s Grand Marshall is Majella Myler of Arklow Sea Scouts and she will lead a diverse range of floats, decorated vehicles and marching groups through the centre of Arklow Town.
Arklow Chamber of Commerce will present the “Chamber of Commerce Cup” for the Best Float for this years parade.
Fiver Friday Promotion
The “Fiver Friday” promotion in conjunction Joe Duffy’s LiveLine Show will be live from Arklow this Friday the 16th of March. The RTE presenter will be outside Arklow Courthouse broadcasting as part of his Nationwide Tour.

Lap of the Map
The 80’s night fundraiser in aid of Mary Hickey’s Lap of the Map has been rescheduled for March 24th. More details are to follow.
Rockview Artists
Arklow Library will host a new art exhibition featuring the works of Martha Duane and Muara Hann of Rockview Artists.
The exhibition will open on Thursday March 15th at 7pm and run until the end of the month.
Avonmore Musical Society “That’s Eurovision”
Avonmore Musical Society is looking for people to participate in their very own version of the Eurovision Song Contest with a winning prize of €500.

Cookery Demo
Arklow Rugby Club will host a cookery evening with well-known Irish Chef, Kevin Dundon in the Arklow Bay Hotel on Friday March 23rd.

Bridgewater Shopping Centre Craft Fair
The Arklow Craft Fair takes place in the Bridgewater Shopping Centre from 12 noon to 6pm on the first Sunday of every month.
Stalls will display an array of arts, crafts & giftware all of which have been created by local craftspeople and artists.
Black Tie Ball
This year marks the 70th Anniversary of Arklow Town Football Club. To celebrate, the club will host a Black-Tie Ball in the Arklow Bay Hotel on Saturday June 23rd. Further details will follow.
